C0339 BMW Fault Code
Check C0339 OBD Fault Code ReasonVehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Intermittent Indicates the powertrain control module (PCM) detected an error in the vehicle speed information. Vehicle speed data is received from either the vehicle speed sensor (VSS), transfer case speed sensor (TCSS), anti-lock brake system (ABS) control module, generic electronic module (GEM), or central timer module (CTM). Diagnosis And Repairing C0339
C0339 the main thing to check is to verify the operation of the VCT solenoid. You're looking for a sticking or stuck VCt solenoid valve caused by contamination. Refer to vehicle specific repair manual to perform component tests for the VCT unit.
How to fix C0339 code ?
- Clogged or faulty fuel injector (s)
- Faulty TCM or TCM programming
- Engine Control Module (ECM)
- Foreign matter caught in fuel filler cap
Regardless of the design though, the purpose of all clutch actuating systems is to improve the driving experience by removing the need for manual clutch operation by the driver.
